Ribbon Cutting Event
You qualify for a Chamber sponsored ribbon cutting if you are a member and have:
- Started a new business
- Launched a new product or service so unique that it commands formal introduction
- Changed ownership or are under new management
- Moved to a new location
- Remodeled or expanded your existing business
This is a newsworthy way to let the community know about your business, product or service. Prior to the ribbon cutting, the Chamber will send a formal announcement to Chamber members, local press and social media networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Mixers are currently scheduled for the third Thursday of each month between 5:30-7:30pm. The mixer sponsor is responsible for providing food and beverages for a minimum of 50 individuals and must use a Chamber member location for the mixer. The sponsorship fee is in exchange for promotion by the Chamber’s online newsletter BCCC Connect and Media outreach, including a follow up article about the event in BCCC Connect plus a “first option” to reserve the same date the following year.
Breakfast and Lunch Meetings
Breakfast and Lunch meetings will be held during six months of the year and scheduled at appropriate times. The Chamber will determine the location of the breakfast or lunch meeting. Chamber members who attend the breakfast or lunch will be responsible for the cost of their own food and beverages. The sponsorship fee is in exchange for promotion by BCCC Connect and Media outreach, including a follow up article about the event in BCCC Connect. During the breakfast or lunch meeting, the sponsor will be given the opportunity to speak about their business for up to ten minutes.
The Holiday Party is scheduled for December between 6:30-9:30pm. The Holiday Party is a major fundraising event for the Chamber and the participating sponsor will be referred to as a Major Sponsor of the event. The sponsor is responsible for providing food and beverages for a minimum of 50 individuals. The sponsor must use a Chamber member location for the Holiday Party. The sponsorship fee is in exchange for promotion by BCCC Connect and Media outreach, including a follow up article about the event in BCCC Connect.
Important note regarding all events
Chamber staff or Program Committee members will arrive a minimum of thirty minutes prior to all events to assist in setup. The host is asked to provide a table and two chairs to assist with signing in guests. The Chamber will manage RSVPs for all events and generate nametags for all registered attendees.
