Web Conference: CYBERSECURITY ON LOGISTICS & INTERNATIONAL TRADE
Join us for the first BCCC International Trade & Logistics Committee webmeeting of 2021 "Cybersecurity on Logistics & International Trade".
As our mission is to promote and improve bilateral trade between Brazil and the richest State in the U.S. Nowadays, we know very well that electronic automation and artificial intelligence have been ahead of trade transactions, logistics management, and transportation navigation systems. Thus, cyber threats and attacks bring big concerns and losses for these industries. That's why we want to start our 2021 monthly webmeetings calendar approaching this subject among our members.
In order to debate the impact and importance of Cybersecurity for our bilateral trade, we invited as Speakers:
Claudio Macedo Pinto, founder of Clamapi Cyber Insurance, has been in the insurance market since 1987, having worked at major Brokers and Insurance Companies in Brazil and abroad. He has a degree in Business Administration from Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz, a Postgraduate Degree in Foreign Trade from FAAP, an MBA in Business Management from FGV Management and ISCTE Business School in Lisbon, as well as several courses in the area of insurance and reinsurance. Since 2010, he holds the AIRM (Latin American Association for Risk and Insurance Management) certification. He is director of APTS (Paulista Association of Insurance Technicians) and member of the Sincor / SP Civil Liability Insurance Committee.
Speaker and Professor of Cyber Insurance at ENS (School of Business and Insurance) at Fundação Vanzolini, at Ventura Cyber Academy, ISQ Portugal among other institutions. He is co-author of the book Data Protection Officer - Theory and Practice according to the LGPD and GDPR, coordinated by Renato Opice Blum, Rony Vainzof and Henrique Fabretti Moraes. He is a member of the Public Committee of ANPPD: National Association of Data Privacy Professionals.

His work encompasses virtually every industry sector, including defense, technology, government, critical infrastructure, automotive, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing.
For more than 25 years, Corey has been driven by a desire to democratize cybersecurity; with Cyvatar, he has realized his mission by bringing his transformative, servant-leader approach to life and paving the way for cybersecurity for all.
Roi Mit is the Chief Marketing Officer at Regulus Cyber, the first company focusing on cybersecurity software for GPS.
Roi is leading the company’s branding, strategy, PR and messaging. Furthermore, Roi is actively engaged in planning, executing and documenting the company’s experiments and research.
Roi is a sales and marketing expert, has a background in both corporate and startup companies. He brings over 8 years of marketing experience and has held various executive roles, working with major autonomous defense systems companies and a variety of sensor technologies.
Roi holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science, Cum Laude, The Open University.
Sem Ponnambalam is the co-founder and President of xahive, a Canadian company with offices in Ottawa, California, NY, & the UK. At xahive, Sem is primarily responsible for global operations, including cybersecurity audits, business, and market development. With 18-plus years' experience in private and public sectors, Sem has been instrumental in building relationships & between xahive and SBDC California, New York, Select USA, London & Partners, P20, New York Academy of Sciences, HIMSS, BlackBerry, RedHat and IBM globally.
Sem has co-authored three books on cybersecurity, co-authored several articles & white papers on cybersecurity, including two published in medical journal articles. She has been interviewed about the importance of cybersecurity by both print and television media in Canada. Also, Sem continues to lecture and facilitate an introduction to cybersecurity governance workshops and courses for businesses, associations, and academic institutions in the US, Canada, and Europe. Sem was a panelist, representing xahive at the World Economic Forum in NY, speaking about the importance of cybersecurity. Also, Sem was part of a trade mission to Italy with the Prime Minister of Canada. Finally, Sem was selected as a delegate and panelist to represent Canada at the G20 Youth Summit in Berlin.
Sem holds a BA Honours from Carleton University in Political Science concentration in International Relations and a MA in Legal Studies from Carleton University. Sem is also a proud mother to a 2 year old daughter.
