The Ambassador of the United States to Brazil Liliana Ayalde visits Los Angeles and participates in a presentation on investment and trade relations Brazil California Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) and the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) hosted a breakfast presentation and discussion with The Honorable Liliana Ayalde, Ambassador of the United States to Brazil on investment and US Brazil Trade Relations. The event took place on March 6th at 9AM at Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA for Brazil California Chamber of Commerce members and special guests. Ayalde addressed an analysis on the focal areas of trade investments to bilateral businesses for the next years. Brazil is today the world's seventh largest economy and is among the US Top 10 trade partners. As well the US is the second trade partner of Brazil and the main foreign direct investor in this country. “Brazilian businesses are evolving to a broader global presence, which is opening new trade and investment opportunities among US and Brazil. We are honored to host Ambassador Ayalde and hear her insights about the investments and trade relations between these two countries”, says Angela Rosenbach, President of Brazil California Chamber of Commerce. Liliana Ayalde is a Career Minister, and previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, covering Cuba, Central America and the Caribbean. Prior to this Ambassador Ayalde served as the Senior Deputy Assistant Administrator in the Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The breakfast presentation and discussion event was sponsored by Brazil California Chamber of Commerce (BCCC), which actively supports US and Brazil businesses relations, in partnership with Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU).
